1000s+ web-based M&E System, designed by Datheon, has been officially accepted by IFDC

Today, the 1000s+ project of IFDC has officially accepted their new web-based Monitoring and Evaluation System. The system was designed by Tom Zeppenfeldt, who was also responsible for the supervision of the development by Malian software-developers from e-Sud  (www.e-sud.com.ml).

Some characteristics of the new system:

  • bilingual (French and English)
  • covering 7 countries in West-Africa
  • 25+ predefined reports with extended filtering possibilities
  • automatic processing of data that are received as spreadsheets, allowing for off-line data-entry
  • workflow for data-entry, data-checking in order to enhance data-quality
  • permission settings based on the role of the user as well as the geographic extent of his intervention area
